It is to my belief,, that this Rutherford was separated from his wife and kid(s) through the latter years of his life.
As I remember JFR was split from his wife, NY winters were too cold for him due to health problems caused by his incarceration.
He had one son, Malcolm, who worked with CTR as his stenographer at one time. He married his wife Pauline and I have seen a photo of them on here with JFR in Hawaii at a convention. After 1942 Malcolm seems to get little mention but Mary Rutherford is mentioned in the Proclaimers Book, I think she died in the 1960's.

In the old 1958 Paradise book there are two pictures, one in the Garden of Eden the other in the New World. I cannot remember the page numbers and the book is tucked away in the loft.
In the GoE picture we see Adam, a Cock (eral) and a Squirrel with a couple of nuts.
In the New World picture we see the Cock (eral) is there along with the Squirrel still with his two nuts.
This was supposed to indicate that we will still be as we are now, so to speak.
Perhaps someone can post the two pictures for those unfamiliar with old paradise book.

Missing WT's on JW Org

when i browse jw org, the following years of watchtower magazines are missing from the drop-down menu:.

1987 - 1990.

1997-1998.. i dont want to install any libraries from jw org because of spyware concerns.. are these years included in the downloadable libraries?.

My old dad bought "The truth shall make you free", "The kingdom is at at hand" and another book which I cannot remember. Three books for 5/- or 25p in "modern" money. This was in the mid 1940's.
For the Ministry School "Theocratic Aid for Kingdom Publishers" was used until "Qualified to be Ministers" was released in 1955. I remember using this until the 1980's when it was replaced by "Benefit from Theocratic Ministry School education" and so the downhill trend turned into freefall.
Modern JW's wouldn't know where to start with such texts.

so they mentioned noah couldn’t have preached to all the population back before the flood.

do you think they might start using common sense regarding not being able to get every animal type on the ark from the whole world?.

maybe the poor sloth from south america didn’t have to crawl all the way?

The really crazy thing about the flood account is that it supposedly happened just 4,393 years ago, or in 2370 BCE.
The WT Society accept that animals "evolved" or whatever from the two of each "kind" in the ark. However, many animals such as lions and tigers were well known in Roman times, so they had evolved in just 2,000 years.

JW old books and mags selling hot on ebay

so i have an eye out for a couple of the more nefarious jw books from the past.

i look on ebay etsy and others.

i see that the older books are selling for a good price.

Here in the UK there is on Ebay Ray Franz's two books for sale, Crisis of Conscience and In Search of Cristian Freedom. £70.00 the pair though after I have viewed them I had an offer of £56.00 if I bought them within a couple of days.
The same seller had other WT books and they are not cheap.
